About the experience

Soar to new heights above the stunning Norfolk countryside in the legendary WW1 Tiger Moth with this unforgettable Vintage Flying Experience from North Denes Airfield. For 45 minutes, you'll take in breathtaking views of the East Anglian coastline, including Great Yarmouth and Caister-on-Sea, while immersing yourself in the rich history of both the aircraft and the landscape below. Guided by an experienced pilot, you'll fly over the famed 'Zeppelin Alley,' a coastline once targeted by enemy airships during the war. As you glide inland, marvel at the iconic Hickling Broads, where naval seaplanes once landed, before heading toward the historic Burgh Castle, once part of the Air Home Defence network and used for anti-Zeppelin patrols. The journey is steeped in history, but your adventure doesn’t stop there—your pilot will even let you take the controls, giving you a true sense of what it was like to be a WW1 pilot soaring over this rustic and historic coastal landscape.
