About the experience
The flying experiences from Prestwick offer a unique opportunity to experience breathtaking Scottish scenery from the skies. Situated on the edge of the Firth of Clyde, Prestwick Airport provides a stunning backdrop for your flying experience, with views of the Isles of Arran, Bute, and Ailsa Craig. As you take off from the Prestwick Flight Centre, you'll be treated to spectacular vistas along the Ayrshire coastline, including Ayr, Prestwick, and Troon beaches. To the southwest, you'll spot the iconic Turnberry Hotel and golf course, as well as Culzean Castle, while to the northwest lies Ardrossan, West Kilbride, Bute, and the Isle of Arran. At the Prestwick Flight Centre, a fleet of training aircraft, including two-seater Cessnas, a Katana, and four-seater Piper PA28s and a Grumman AA5A, awaits. With an on-site pilot's shop, engineering facilities, and briefing rooms, the Prestwick Flying School provides a comprehensive and seamless experience for a flying experience and witness the beauty of Ayrshire.

- Spectators are welcome but will only be able to view the take off and landing
- Participants of the four seater experiences are allowed to bring an interested observer (min age 14) who can observe the lesson from the rear seat (at the discretion of the flight instructor and subject to weather conditions)
