The Dunstable Gliding Club offers an exceptional opportunity for unpowered flight, conveniently located near London and the Home Counties. Take advantage of our vouchers for a thrilling gliding experience, including one aero tow and a one-day course of three aero tows. Our grass airfield, situated just west of Dunstable town centre on the Dunstable Downs, provides a breathtaking setting for your glider flights, offering stunning panoramic views. With a tandem, two-seat design and excellent cockpit visibility, you'll soar through the skies with confidence. Receive a thorough pre-flight safety briefing and then board the glider for an unforgettable flight. - Welcome introduction and safety briefing
- A dual controlled glider and a tug plane will tow you to approximately two thousand feet
- You will be released from the tow plane by your pilot
- Experience the wonder of soaring over the Dunstable Downs
- Flights last approximately 15 to 20 minutes
- Please allow at least 90 minutes on airfield for this experience
- One month club membership is included
