About the experience

Embark on an exhilarating motorized glider trial flight over Devon, taking off from Dunkeswell Airfield. Experience the stunning vistas of Devon's coastline and countryside from the air. Dunkeswell, nestled in the Blackdown Hills just north of Honiton, offers the thrill of soaring on excellent rising currents. For the adventurous, we highly recommend the Mile High flight. On this flight, you'll ascend to one mile high and witness panoramic views of both the north and south Devon coasts before soaring through the skies. The motorized gliders at Dunkeswell offer the perfect blend of power and serenity - take off under your own power, climb to your desired altitude, and then glide in silence to savour the tranquillity of powerless flight. With their large domed cockpit glass, the Scheibe Rotax Falke motorgliders provide exceptional in-flight visibility. Seating is side-by-side, allowing you to sit next to your pilot instructor and observe their actions. Furthermore, the aircraft features dual controls, giving you a chance to take the reins and pilot the motorglider over Devon yourself!
