About the experience
Put your technical skills to the test as you enjoy this flying lesson in a Cessna 152. Whether you’ve clocked up the hours in the skies before, or are a complete beginner, these flying lessons can be tailored to suit all experience levels as you are accompanied by an expert pilot. Not only will you learn the technical skills for flying the plane, but prior to this you will be given the lowdown on the pre flight checks and radio clearance from the pilot, as you develop insider knowledge into how these aircrafts work. Once ready, your pilot will take care off take off and you’ll soon be soaring over the skies of Gloucestershire and the rolling hills all around. Because these pilots are passionate about getting people flying and feeling confident in the skies, they will encourage you to take the controls for as much as possible to make the most of your flying lesson. This ex RAF training centre ensures you are in the best hands for learning as they are well equipped to help you train towards your Private Pilot License or simply develop your love of flying. - Flights are available Tuesdays to Saturday throughout the year
- Flights may be postponed if the weather conditions are poor
- Spectators are very welcome to watch the take of and landing
- Passengers are not permitted in flights at this training school
- The nearby Aviator restaurant provides superb views across the airfield with hot and cold food available from 9.00am to 9.00pm every day
