Experience the thrill of flying with our exclusive flying lessons at Bodmin Airfield in Cornwall! Treat yourself or a loved one to a 30-minute flight in a two-seater light aircraft at this welcoming airfield, conveniently located on the edge of Bodmin Moor. Our flying club, located on the former Treswithick Farm in Bodmin, features two grass runways and has been offering exceptional lessons since 1972. Situated in the heart of the South West, just north of Bodmin town and adjacent to the A30, our location provides easy access for all aspiring aviators. Your journey begins with a warm welcome at the clubhouse, where you'll meet your experienced pilot before taking to the skies. As you soar over Bodmin and the moors, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Cornish landscape, including the charming towns of St Austell and Truro. As you ascend, the expansive coastline and beyond, to the Celtic Sea and the English Channel, will come into view, offering a truly awe-inspiring sight. Once at cruising altitude, you'll have the chance to take the controls of the Cessna and experience the thrill of piloting an aircraft first-hand. Information
- Friends and family are more than welcome to come along to show support and listen to the flight briefings
- On four seater flights you can usually bring along one guest who can observe the lesson from the rear seats for an additional charge of £20, payable when booking your date
- Minimum age is 14
- Parental/guardian consent is required for all participants under 18
- Maximum weight limit for 2 seater flights is 16 stone
- Maximum weight for 4 seater flights is 18 stone, (combined weight limits also apply for passengers)

Maximum Weight: 114.00 kg
- The clubhouse is home to the Windsock Restaurant, serving a variety of freshly prepared dishes
- The club is usually open seven days a week, subject to weather conditions
