About the experience
Have you or a friend ever dreamed of flying a Boeing 737 and taking turns being the captain? This full motion simulator flying session gets you both as close to the real experience as possible, as you feel every bump and move in the flight. Just as in a regular flight, you will be given a pre-flight overview and be under the guidance of an experienced instructor who is often a current or retired professional commercial pilot. This simulator is equipped with full hydraulic motion which mirrors the physical sensations of flying and as you’re inside, it will be hard not to feel like you are actually flying through the skies. Power on the throttle and feel the burst of acceleration as you feel your way through the controls and get to grips with the cockpit. This simulator even contains everything that a regular Boeing 737 would have such as headsets, oxygen masks and lifejackets. In this session you will be navigating through a low visibility landing, dealing with strong winds or even a rejected take off where you have to slam on the brakes. All scenarios are everyday events for pilots around the world and this sim doesn’t shy you away from learning how to cope with the challenges and curveballs the skies have to offer. - Under 16s must be accompanied on site by an adult over 18
- Good, general mobility is required for this experience
- Not suitable for those who suffer from claustrophobia, motion sickness, epilepsy, those with restricted mobility or with a nervous disposition
Minimum Age: 12 years
- Mondays to Sundays throughout the year (excluding Bank Holidays)
- Sessions are generally available between 09:00 and 19:00, 10:00-17:00 on Sundays
- Dates are subject to availability
- Guests are welcome but cannot view the activity, take photos or ride onboard the simulator
- There is a comfortable lounge area with complimentary tea and coffee
