But this isn’t just a pleasurable flight, but can be a chance to learn all about these incredible vessels as your instructor will offer you the chance to get the balloon ready for flight after going through the safety briefing. Once all set, all that’s left to do is climb aboard the basket and enjoy the views as they unfold all around from 2000ft. Although this balloon has a capacity of 22 people, your group size for this experience will be capped between 10-18 people so you’ll have plenty of space to spread out. In a matter of minutes you’ll be drifting across the city of Oxford and the Chiltern Hills Area of Natural Beauty and enjoy the sights all around. Unlike other forms of flying however, there’s no telling exactly what direction your flight will take you, but relying on the wind direction is all part of the fun! It’s safe to say whatever route you end up taking, the views you get across Oxfordshire are unmatched. Once the flight is over, the fun doesn’t finish there. After planting your feet firmly back on the ground, you’ll be treated to a Champagne reception to cool off after your exhilarating flight! Information

- Not suitable during pregnancy
- Nobody under the influence of alcohol is permitted to fly
- Passengers must be able to stand unassisted for at least an hour, be able to bend their knees to take the seated landing position, follow all instructions given by the pilot and react quickly in the unlikely event of an emergency
- Passengers must be sure they do not have any pre-existing or current medical conditions which could be affected by a hot air balloon flight including but not exclusively recent major surgery
- The basket provides easy access: Two compartments have doors with just a small step up and down. The other two compartments have foot holes in the basket to help you climb in and out

- Warm, comfortable layers should be worn
- Comfortable flat shoes (no flip flops, open-toed sandals or high heels)
- Hats or caps are recommended to protect your head from the burners
- If your flight needs to be rescheduled bookings are non-refundable and can be rescheduled only

- Sunrise flights take off approximately one hour after sunrise
- Sunset flights take off around three hours before sunset
- Participants should arrive at least one hour before take-off
- Please note, optimum weather conditions are needed for balloons to be able to safely operate
- If the weather forecast is deemed unsuitable your flight will be rescheduled
- Participants must phone at 10:30 on the evening before for sunrise flights or at 13:00 on the day for sunset flights to check the status of the flight and arrival time
- Family and friends are welcome to watch your take-off
