About the experience
Ever wondered what a typical day looks like for an airline pilot? It's something as passengers, we rarely get to see or experience. But with this simulator session based in a Boeing 737 or Airbus A320 simulator you get a window into their world as you put the cockpit through its paces from start to finish. You'll soon learn it's not all about the flying, but how important the pre flight checks are such as looking at the weather and planning your route. With your instructor on hand to show you the ropes, you'll then enter the simulator and be shown how to set up the cockpit for the flight ahead. Upon entering this sim, you'll be surprised at how realistic everything looks. From the oval windows and the working overhead lockers, it has everything you expect in a standard commercial airline. After setting the sim up and getting comfortable, you'll then prepare for take off and fly into an airport of your choice. One of the best aspects about simulators as you can craft the flight experience of your choice whilst not having to rely on real time conditions. If you want to learn how to fly in a storm, you can select that option, alternatively, you can also opt for a more leisurely flight. As you complete your journey, you'll soon be feeling more confident with the controls and settle into the captain role. Whether you're a complete beginner, or somebody who has got some flight experience, this session is designed for anyone who has a passion for flying, regardless of experience.

- Take the simulator through the same procedures used by major airlines: Start-up, taxi, takeoff, departure, cruise, descent, landing and shutdown
- Around 70 minutes in the simulator

- Conveniently situated close to the M53 with good links to Liverpool, Manchester and Chester
- Under 18s must be accompanied on site by an adult
- Suitable for complete novices or fully trained pilots
Minimum Age: 12 years
- Spectators are welcome
- There is room inside the flight deck for one on the 'jump' seat
- An airliner cabin behind the flight deck enables friends and family to view what is going on via a HD TV
- You are more than welcome to take photos during the experience!
- We have a GoPro available on the flight deck if you wish to record the experience
- Selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year
- Dates and session times are subject to availability
- Disabled facilities include, access ramps to simulators, disabled toilets and designated parking
