You'll have the chance to 'fly' two iconic aircraft: the Avro Vulcan bomber and the Boeing 737-800. These state-of-the-art, fixed-base simulators feature fully functional controls and high-definition graphics, delivering an incredibly realistic experience. Step back in time with the Avro Vulcan, an aircraft that played a pivotal role during the Cold War as a nuclear deterrent. Later, it served as a reconnaissance plane, and while none of these majestic bombers are airborne today, their legacy lives on through advanced simulators that allow aviation enthusiasts to relive the past. On the commercial side, you'll take the controls of the Boeing 737-800, one of the most recognisable and widely used airliners in the world. Chances are you've flown as a passenger on one of these, but now you can see what it feels like to be in the pilot's seat. Information
- Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult on site
- Suitable for novices, domestic passengers and fully trained pilots
- Available weekdays and weekends throughout the year, subject to availability
- Sessions run between 10:00 and 18:00
