About the experience
Take on the challenge of learning how to fly in your choice of microlight with these lessons departing from Tatenhill Airfield in Staffordshire. If flying has always been on your lifelong bucket list, there’s no better way to learn than in microlights and here, you’ll be able to choose between the light sport aircraft which is known for being nippy and responsive, or the flex wing which offers you the unique experience of being open to the elements, with 360 degree views all around. Whichever you choose, you’ll be in the best hands here with Sandie, who has been flying since 1999. With her, you’ll explore a route over the Peak District or Staffordshire countryside of your choice as you take on a role in the planning process and decide what you want to see. Whether you’ve flown at some point before, or are completely new to it, Sandie will tailor your lesson to suit your needs so you can get the most out of this experience. With stunning views over the Peak District, historic stately homes or picturesque countryside, you’re in for a treat with scenic 60 minute lesson in a microlight.
