About the experience
Looking to discover Brighton and the East Sussex coast from a whole new perspective? This 60 Minute Gyroplane flight experience should tick all the boxes! Taking off from the luxe Art Deco styled Brighton City Airport at Shoreham-by-Sea, you’ll be flying open cockpit style in a RotorSport UK MT-03 gyroplane, flown by your pilot, Lloyd, who was formerly in the Royal Navy and is now passionate about flying gyroplanes, or gyrocopters as they’re sometimes called. This is a really nice one to do especially when it’s the summer, as you’ll get to feel the breeze coming in from the sea, marvel at the breathtaking views over the Adur estuary, Brighton and Worthing and feel some warm sunshine on your face! If you’re up for it, you can even have a go at the controls under Lloyd’s guidance and support when you’re airborne!

Information
- Minimum age 14
- Under 18s must be accompanied on the airfield by an adult
- Maximum weight 16 stone
- You must be between 4'6" and 6'4" (137cm and 193cm)
- You need to be agile enough to get in and out of the gyrocopter
- No previous flying experience is required
- Please seek medical advice if you have previously suffered a heart condition or other medical complaint such as back or neck problems
- Spectators are welcome to watch your gyrocopter flight
Minimum Age: 14 years
- Weekdays and weekends throughout the year (from August 2024)
- All flights are subject to weather conditions
- Comfortable outdoor clothing and closed toe footwear should be worn
- It is also recommended you bring gloves to wear on the flight
