It's easy to be fascinated by choppers as you get lost in watching their blades slice through the skies overhead on a summer’s day. Despite these nifty helicopters making flying look very easy, they can be tricky to master. However, if you’ve ever wanted to learn how to fly one, you’re in the right place. All those years later, and this venue is still helping people train towards their pilot licence or simply having a go at mastering a new skill. In this session, depending on your prior experience, your instructor will have you flying sideways, backwards, mastering spot turns and hoovering. As you soar over Liverpool, you’ll also be treated to the incredible cityscape views from the air as you catch the Welsh mountains in the distance. - The captain has the right to refuse anyone they believe to be unfit through drink or drugs or who may compromise flight safety
- Photographic ID must be shown prior to flying
- Under 18s must be accompanied on the airfield by an adult

- Helicopter lessons are usually available 7 days a week all year round, subject to weather conditions
- Spectators are welcome to come and watch take off and landing
- There is a comfortable lounge area and outdoor viewing area with great views of the aircraft
- One passenger can usually be taken on the flight (at the pilot's discretion)
- Tea, coffee and squash are available for guests
