About the experience

Explore the history surrounding Old Sarum Airfield in Wiltshire with a 60 Minute Flying Lesson! Nestled in the heart of the countryside surrounding Salisbury, this small and mighty airfield was used in both World Wars and the D-Day operations, with several buildings on site being Grade II listed! As you prep for your Flying Lesson you'll be able to explore the history before taking to the skies. Once you've got your bearings, you'll meet your friendly instructor who will be going over the safety controls and showing you how to fly the plane. Before you know it, they will have you floating through the skies as you get some fantastic views of Salisbury Cathedral and the surrounding picturesque coast. Who could ask for more? Not only are these flights an ideal way to see all the sights, but they are providing you with the opportunity to take the controls of the plane and fly it yourself!
