About the experience
If you find yourself just west of Leominster and fancy a trip in the skies whilst learning to fly a helicopter, you’re in the right place. With lessons at this site taking place since 1992, this flight school has a long history of getting people into the skies and improving their confidence as they learn to fly. Situated in the heart of Herefordshire, this airfield enjoys the unrestricted sensations of G class airspace with stunning views over the countryside. Flying the 5 seater helicopter is quite the jump from a 2, but luckily for you our expert instructors will be on hand to help you through any flight nerves or tricky maneouvers. Whether you’ve been clocking up the hours, recently taken a break from flying or never flown before, experience is irrelevant here as each lesson is tailored towards you and what you want to achieve during your flight. With fantastic views, experts on hand and a flying school with a long history, if you’re into helicopters, this is the perfect experience for you.

- 30 minute one to one pre-flight briefing on basic helicopter procedures and use of the aircraft control
- Flight times include start up to shut down time
- Once airborne you will learn level flight, turns, power changes as well as hovering
Information

- Under 18s must be accompanied on the airfield by an adult
- There are no weight restrictions for the 5 seater Jetranger
- All guests will need to provide photographic ID in order to fly
- Participants of the five seater experiences are allowed to bring 2-3 interested observers (min age 14) who can observe the lesson from the rear seat (at the discretion of the flight instructor and subject to weather conditions and weight restrictions)
Minimum Age: 14 years
- Weekdays and weekends throughout the year
- Flights are subject to availability and weather conditions
- Friends and family are very welcome to come and watch your departure and arrival
