About the experience
Explore what it’s like to fly in a range of different conditions, all from the comfort of a powerful simulator near Peterborough, designed to train pilots to the highest of standards. In this experience, you’ll get a taste of what it’s like to be a commercial airline pilot as this is a pretty accurate replica of a Boeing 737. It’s not often you get to take the wheel of such a large commercial jet, and it will be hard to remember you’re not actually soaring through the skies with the detailed visual systems, surround sound and hydraulic motion. Regardless of whether you’ve clocked up your flying hours over the years, or this is your first introduction to flying, all levels of experience are welcomed here as your pilot can help you to tailor your session to suit your needs. From the moment your simulation session begins, you’ll feel the surge of the engine and tremble of turbulence as you fly to a destination of your choice - all provided by the powerful hydraulics underpinning this sim. Unlike regular flying, you can even choose whether you fly in wind, rain, snow or a sunny day with a wide range of conditions. If you’re feeling up for a challenge, you can be engulfed in fog or a tropical storm as you experience the challenges this adds to landing and take off. With experienced instructors and pilots alongside you and a customisable flying experience all from the safety and comfort of the ground, you can explore what flying a Boeing 737 has to offer in this simulator session based at Cambridge.

- Longer flights will allow a wider range of situations to be simulated e.g. a 60 minute flight provides enough time to experience day and night landings, bad weather, air turbulence and even in-flight emergencies
- Opt for the 'Duo' session to share the fun with a friend and receive 30 minutes of flying time each

- Good, general mobility is required for this experience
- Not suitable for those who suffer from claustrophobia, motion sickness, epilepsy, those with restricted mobility or with a nervous disposition
Minimum Age: 12 years
- Mondays to Sundays throughout the year (excluding Bank Holidays)
- Sessions are generally available between 09:00 and 19:00, 10:00-17:00 on Sundays
- Dates are subject to availability
- Guests are welcome but cannot view the activity, take photos or ride onboard the simulator
- There is a comfortable lounge area with complimentary tea and coffee
