Get yourself Helicopter savvy with this flying lesson in a Robinson R44 departing from Redhill Aerodrome in Surrey. If you've always wanted to take to the skies in one of these nifty choppers and learn how to fly one, you're in luck. Departing from Redhill Airport in Surrey, you'll be treated to unrestricted airspace as you make the most of the clear skies. You won't find better instructors than those based at Redhill as flights have been taking off here since the 1930s and today, it's home to one of the most prestigious helicopter flight schools around. During your time in the skies, you can do as much flying as you like. Dependent on whether you are a complete beginner, or someone who is starting with a bit of experience under your belt, the instructor will show you the ropes for climbs, turns and hovering in the air. As you'll be in an R44, this also gives you the option to invite up to two passengers to join you in your flight, so why not make a day of it with some like minded, aviation enthusiast friends? - Minimum age 14
- Under 18s must be accompanied on the airfield by an adult
- Participants of the 4 seater lessons may take up to 2 spectators in the helicopter (weight permitting and at the discretion of the instructor) Please advise if over 15 stone
- Spectators are welcome to come and watch your departure and arrival
- If you choose a four seater voucher you may be able to invite up to two interested observers to watch the lesson from the rear seat (at the discretion of the pilot on the day)
