About the experience
Get a taste for flying with this microlight trial session over the scenic Solent coastline. Not only will you be treated to spectacular views throughout this flight, but benefit from the expert tuition from a pilot as they teach you how to fly. Like all good flight experiences, this one starts with a ground briefing as your instructor takes you through the basic safety measures and how to control the plane. There’s no need to panic about mastering a take off as the pilot will take care of that, and only hand over the controls once you’re nice and relaxed in the skies. You’ll also be glad to know not only will you be in the best hands throughout this experience, but be flying the ideal aircraft for learning. The C42 is a super light sports aircraft with a fully enclosed cockpit and is known for its stable handling and ease of controls. Not only is it great for beginners, but it’s also known for being agile and quiet - the best of both worlds when it comes to flying. Once you’ve settled in the controls start to become second nature, you’ll soon be appreciating the stunning views all around you. Flying over Southampton and Portsmouth is a treat as you will get amazing views of Portsmouth Harbour and the Spinnaker Tower that look all the more spectacular from a distance.
