Those in mid-Wales looking to start their flying career will be spreading their wings - figuratively speaking - on this 30 Minute Four Seater Flying Lesson at Welshpool Airport in Powys! This is a trial flying lesson, so it's perfect for those who are perhaps looking to give it a go before deciding whether to commit to more lessons. The airport is based just south of Welshpool town centre, and your backdrop is the lush, green rolling Welsh hills and valleys. Powys is the ideal place to start flying from; it's a small, friendly airport founded by the late Bob Jones in the 1980s, and his legacy still lives on with the flight training sessions running from here. Over the duration of your 30 minute session, you'll be in a four-seater Cessna 152, a light but nimble aeroplane that's ideal for flight training, with the opportunity to take the controls yourself under the guidance of your instructor pilot once airborne!
