Is there a better location to learn to fly in than Yorkshire? With rolling hills and an impressive landscape, there's a good reason why there has been a flying school on site at Beverley (Linely) since 1991. Although the airfield has a history stretching back to 1930, today it is used as one of the main training locations for people in and around York and Hull. From the moment you arrive here, you’ll soon realise this is a friendly and down to earth club who are passionate about getting people comfortable in the skies. These instructors want to ensure your experience is the best it can possibly be, which is why the pre-flight safety briefing is carried out before your lesson time, so you can get to grips with the controls and safety procedures before taking to the skies. As you climb throughout the skies, you’ll be treated to spectacular views over the Yorkshire Wolds with glimpses out over the River Humber as your lesson progresses over this spectacular landscape.
