About the experience
Discover the art of flying with this 2 seater Landaway Lesson departing from Teesside International airport. Whether you consider yourself a seasoned flyer, or someone who has clocked up the hours over the years, or a complete beginner, this flight school is passionate about getting everyone into the air and feeling safe and comfortable. In this experience you’ll get a real sense for how an actual flight pans out, as it begins with a pre-flight safety briefing where you will go over the controls and plan your flight path. Once you’re feeling familiar with the controls, your pilot will then take you to the aircraft. Rest assured, whatever pilot you are coupled with in this lesson you will be in the best hands. If you’re lucky to pair up with senior instructor, Mark Lee, you’ll enjoy tuition from a working commercial pilot with years of flight time under his belt. Unlike a regular flying lesson where you take off and land at the same airport, with landaways it’s a bit different as you’ll fly for 20 minutes and navigate to a nearby airfield and then fly back for another 20 minutes to Teesside International. If you like the idea of a slightly different flying lesson, then this landaway session should be right up your alley.
