Information about the Extra EA-300 Plane

The Extra EA-300 Plane is bound to look familiar if you’ve been to your fair share of air shows. Often seen at shows around the country, and at the World Aerobatic Championships, the mighty Extra EA-300 Plane has a firm spot amongst the greats of aerobatic flying and for good reason. Designed in 1987 by Walter Extra, an aerobatic pilot, it is known for it’s maximum speed of 253mph and capabilities of handling +10/-10 Gs and extreme aerobatic maneuvers.

Simply put, if you’ve ever wanted to experience an Aerobatic Fight, the EA-300 Plane should be at the top of your list. Used by The Blades, who were a British aerobatics team travelling all across the country to various airshows and giving passenger flights, it’s no wonder this aeroplane has developed such a firm reputation amongst the aerobatic community, and those who like their flights on the adventurous side.

Where can I take an Aerobatic Flight?

If you're anywhere near the South of England, you're in for a treat! Aerobatic Flights are now available from Goodwood Aerodrome along the Sussex Coastline. Here, you'll get to experience the sheer power of aerobatics in all their glory, as you soar in a Extra EA-300 Plane at G-forces you didn't even think it would be possible to reach.

Even though you'll be a passenger for the majority of the flight, you're experienced pilot will be putting you through your paces as you hold on tight and witness the thrills of loops, aileron rolls, stall turns, barrel rolls and Cuban 8's. Heart hammering, jaw dropping and adrenaline filled, if you get the chance, you should definitely secure a spot on these aerobatic flights at Goodwood - the home of great flying with some of the best instructor's around.

If you're keen to take it to another level, there are also extreme aerobatic flying sessions taking place here which aren't for the faint hearted! If you love the thought of witnessing some of the most challenging tricks and speeds through the skies over Sussex, you'll want to get yourself onto one of these flights. You will be shown some of the craziest stunts that this Extra 300 can do and if you are feeling brave, can have a go with the controls too.
