Your pilot instructor will greet you upon arrival at your chosen venue, and will take you through a full safety briefing on the ground. Then the exciting part comes, as you climb into the cockpit and await take off, with the aircraft engine roaring into life, and the checklists on taxiing, and feel the adrenaline build as you prepare to soar off the runway with your pilot once you've had the all-clear from Air Traffic Control. And as you take in the views around you and far below you, and you start to take the controls, you'll understand just how much fun it is and how easy it is to fly such a nimble little aircraft to altitude level, learning how to make turns in the air, and keep your nose up as you maintain target altitude. Your flight runs 'chock to chock', meaning that the session starts when the plane taxis away to when you switch the engine off once you land back on the ground. Best of all, your learning from this lesson will be filed in your logbook, and will count towards your learning required to obtain your Private Pilot's Licence (PPL).
